Why Blocksense rebranded earlier this year

New look, same coordinates 🧭
When we started Blocksense, we didn’t put much energy into colors or logos. Like most dev teams, we figured we’d get to branding later. First, we had an oracle to build.
So we kept things simple. We focused on getting feeds live, rolling out on new chains, and proving that programmable, cost-efficient oracles could actually exist. Visual identity? That came second to working code, real partnerships, and feedback from builders who were tired of being told to “wait for approval.”
But this year, something shifted.

We grew. The protocol matured. More chains came online. More feeds shipped. More builders joined the crew. And as that happened, our branding started to feel a little behind.
So in Q1 2025, we decided to give Blocksense a new look.

Why we rebranded
Our old visual identity got the job done in the early days. But it was born in a dev tunnel, when most of our energy was going into Schelling game theory, compilers, ZK proofs, and onboarding our first data feeds.
Now, we find ourselves building for something bigger. We’ve got mainnet deployments, programmable oracle logic, peg-aware feeds, AI inference pipelines, and a community that’s weird, smart, and unstoppable. Our look needed to reflect all that.

Follow the star
At the heart of the new logo is a star. It's a quiet reference to guidance and direction, something that’s especially relevant in a web3 space that can feel a little, well, directionless at times.
For builders navigating new chains, pushing boundaries, or just trying to get a price feed live without begging a legacy oracle for attention, we want to be a constant guide. Something you can count on. Something like a North Star perhaps?

And while the new branding doesn’t shout Ahoy, matey!, the connection is there. Pirates navigated by the stars. They were guided by what was fixed in the sky, not what was handed down by gatekeepers on land. That mindset still charts our course.
Where we’re heading

We’re building the infrastructure that lets anyone create and deploy their own data feeds. We’re expanding into general-purpose oracle logic. We’re exploring verifiable inference, modular AI proofs, and feed logic that adapts in real time. And we’re still shipping faster and cheaper than anyone else in the game.
To everyone who’s been with us since the early testnet days, thank you.
To those just finding us now, welcome.

The coordinates are set. The flag’s still flying.
We keep building. 🏴☠️🚀

Why Blocksense flies the pirate flag
Most web3 communities tell a story. Some build theirs around cosmic visions, others wrap themselves in metaphors of military discipline. At Blocksense, we didn’t set out to build an empire. We set out to give builders an alternative to one.
